About the program
BIO x AI is a seed-stage summer
program based in Zurich. We are launching the first ever summer program aimed at early-stage startups at the intersection of biology and engineering.
We're looking for world-class startups who are creating software-enabling biotech companies with the potential to make incredible advances in the world of biology and tech.
Our Mission is to find the next generation of world-class entrepreneurs who are
creating biotech companies at the intersection of engineering and biology, and provide those
founders with the right strategies, the knowledge, the connections and structure necessary to
build a life science company.
NODES BIO is founded by venture capitalists and entrepreneurs in the BIO space who have built and invested in iconic companies as well as academics; NODES will spend a single intense month with them to help them craft a strategy to a successful launch.
We're especially interested in innovative startups building solutions within the thematic areas below, as well as within healthcare delivery, programmable medicine and engineered biology.
We support selected candidate with consulting and work one-on-one sessions for 1 intense month. We help founders build world-class teams, find projects and customers, and support in raising a the financing round
We’ll work closely with you to provide strategic guidance and tailored support
We’ll work with you to craft a targeted fundraising strategy, introduce you
to our esteemed network of VCs and the wider Life science industry investors.
You’ll join an elite peer community of founders in the program, going after
shared challenges together
Incorporate early feedback and build traction with an extensive network of companies seeking to partner with bio + engineering startups

Managing Partner at NODES
Eliott has been an advisor for dozens of clients on early-stage
investments since he first joined the Venture Capital industry. Prior to founding Nodes Advisors, he
was an Investment Manager at Polytech Ventures, where he oversaw early-stage investments of ~USD 50M
Associate at SpaceFund Ventures
Granatstein is a "NewSpace" startup investor & mentor whose goal is to develop a
robust in-space economy to better life on Earth. He is a Junior Partner at SpaceFund, where he
oversees the fund's investment funnel and manages market research activities.
Dr. KJELL STENBERG
Partner at NODES
joining Nodes Advisors, Kjell co-founded and served at the boards of successful biotech companies
Galecto Biotech, Aptahem, and Cyxone – the latter of which he became the CEO. The three companies
combined raised more than USD 100 million in the first five years. Kjell’s large pharma background
spans bio-investing with Medwell Capital and managing projects in cancer, infectious diseases,
neuroinflammatory disorders, and antiviral therapy at AstraZeneca.
Partner at NODES
joining Nodes Advisors, Tyler worked in strategic operations and global business development with
multiple US-based and international sell-side and buy-side engagements. In addition to founding
Aroner Surgical LLC, a Seattle-based life science distributorship, Tyler has been a direct investor,
advisor, researcher, and operator in a multitude of areas spanning life sciences, biotech, and
regenerative therapies, including rigid fixation implants, ML/AI-enabled diagnostics, IoT wearables
for long-term-care, robotics, and 3D bioprinting, among others.
